Description
The beautiful red barn was built in 1916 and was part of the original farm site that was donated in 1979 to the Big Horn County Histroical Society for a museum. An auto-oiled 1906 Aermotor windmill stands near the barn. These windmills were used to pump well water before electricity was available in rural areas.

This really gives the feeling of being down on the farm, literally. One can easily hear the associated sounds all around, hopefully not literally of course. (smile) I can see this on a calendar, as an ad, in a book, or even a post card or travel brochure! L/F FB

Thank you very much, Kellice, for your kind comments, all the wonderful suggestions, and additional support for this photo!!! Maybe I should talk to the museum about making a calendar. :-)
