Russell Soulsby built this station in 1926 with his father, Henry. He ran it with his sister, Ola, until 1991. For its 65 years of operation, they sold only Shell gasoline.

I find it so interesting to compare the old with the new. For some reason, it seems like older designs in general were just more aesthetically pleasing and creative than today's modern designs. I find this to be true in so many things, whether they be gas pumps, trains, airplanes, churches, etc. F/V

I tend to agree with you, Kellice, although there was a time in my life when I liked the new better than the old. Now I seem to lean towards the old and wish I had appreciated it more when there was more of it to enjoy!
